How are aloe leaves processed?

Processing of aloe leaves for its gel is a rather simple process. Once the aloe leaf is tipped, tailed and its spiny ridges are removed, it can simply be squeezed or grinded up to get the gel. There are other sophisticated ways too to separate gel without loss of the product or quality.
